Performances on The X Factor last night have lead to huge sales increases for Rihanna, Bon Jovi and Jamiroquai, according to one online retailer.

Play.com reported this morning that Bon Jovi saw the biggest boost, with album sales increasing 365% overnight following their performance of 'Livin' on a Prayer' with the X Factor finalists.

Rihanna, who performed her new single 'Only Girl (In The World)', saw sales rise 240%, while Jamiroquai enjoyed a 180% jump after his performance.

A spokesperson for Play.com said: "The X-Factor continues to prove critics wrong, and has shown that it is a platform that can encourage record sales and help the industry."
