One Direction mobbed at Heathrow airport

One Direction were mobbed by screaming fans when they arrived at Heathrow Airport yesterday.

The X Factor boyband returned to the UK on Sunday, following a stint in LA working on their debut record.

Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan had to be taken to a police van by airport security after nearly 100 supporters gathered to greet the group.

Syco are rumoured to have invested £2 million in One Direction's first album, however, no deal has been officially confirmed to date. A debut single is believed to be in the pipeline for March.
