Miss Frank reveal new band name

Miss Frank have announced a "divorce" from their X Factor roots and revealed their new band name as Scarlet Lowe.

The group was formed at the bootcamp stage of the reality TV show in 2009 by Graziella Affinita, Shar Alexandra and Shaniece Davis. In 2010, Davis left the band and was replaced by Cherelle Basquine.

A mocked-up divorce petition has been posted on the band's website announcing the split between "wife" Miss Scarlet Lowe Frank and "husband" Mr X.F. Frank.

"Husband is a resident of County of London and has been resident since 2009," the message reads. "Wife is a resident of variant Counties, State of London, England and has been a resident since X Factor 2009.

"We were married to each other on July in the middle of TV Show County of Talkback Thames, State of Shockshire. Our marriage is irretrievably broken or has serious, permanent differences or as statutorily authorized."

It adds: "Make applicable that Wife wants to have her former name restored to Scarlet Lowe."

A link to a new website reveals a press photograph of Affinita and Alexandra, and Basquine seemingly absent from the new line-up.

A statement on the site reads: "After recent liberation from her previous arrangement as Miss Frank, Graziella and Shar Alexandra would like to reintroduce you a sassier, stronger superwoman by the name of Scarlet Lowe."
