The X Factor finalists recently confirmed that their first single 'What Makes You Beautiful' will be released next month. However, they have now said that it will not be accompanied by a JLS-style routine.
Louis Tomlinson told We Love Pop: "We wouldn't be as cool as them. We'd trip over our shoelaces. But I don't want us to be choreographed and matchy-matchy anyway.
"We're not trying to be something we're not. We're like the guys who you go to school with. And I don't think other boybands are like that."
Meanwhile, Liam Payne revealed that all five teenagers helped to write their debut album, due in November. "We've all taken an approach to writing," he said. "It's tough, but we all try to contribute. We were pushed into a corner on The X Factor, so it's nice that we've finally found our own sound."
'What Makes You Beautiful' will receive its first airplay this Wednesday on Radio 1.
