The singer, currently at number two in the midweek singles chart with 'Heaven', has worked with stars including Leona Lewis, Cher Lloyd and Susan Boyle. However, Sandé told MTV News that she had never considered applying for Simon Cowell's reality shows.
"I don't think I ever would have," she said. "I think I would have found it so hard that I didn't have the complete freedom to write, that would have been my main thing.
"It was never really an option and it never really crossed my mind to do it."
Speaking of her experience working with Lewis, Sandé said that she would "love" to collaborate with the 'Collide' singer again.
"We all got on so well and we had such a laugh and nothing was forced and it all came very natural, I would love to work with her again," she commented. "She's got an incredible voice and we have got a lot in common so it was very easy to write with her."
