The former Destiny's Child member said she is already looking for an opportunity to work with Contostavlos and her band N-Dubz, and feels "blessed" to have met the singer.
"We've talked about things, and how hard it is breaking the US," Rowland told New magazine. "I think she's immensely talented, and I also think her band N-Dubz are pretty amazing as well.
"When the show is over there's a very good chance we could all do a collaboration together."
Rowland went on to praise Contostavlos's "sweet" personality, and admitted she was surprised the two had bonded so well.
Contostavlos herself has said she would love to work with both Rowland and X Factor head judge Gary Barlow on her upcoming solo album.
Rowland recently admitted it would be "awesome" to return for next year's series of X Factor.
