'X Factor' stars record charity single 'Wishing on a Star' - pictures

In between rehearsals, partying, sleeping and probably playing hide-and-seek in their luxury mansion, the X Factor finalists this week recorded the 2011 charity single.



As announced earlier this week, the 16 acts have covered Rose Royce's 1978 hit 'Wishing on a Star'. Proceeds from the track, released next month, will benefit ACT & Children's Hospices UK.

Following their elimination in the first live show, 2 Shoes, Amelia Lily, James Michael and Jonjo Kerr were reunited with the remaining 12 finalists to record the song at Metropolis Studios in London.

The X Factor continues on Saturday at 7.45pm on ITV1.
