Nirvana to take on 'X Factor' winner for Christmas number one

Nirvana have had their odds slashed to become the UK's Christmas number one.
The band's iconic hit 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' has been handed odds of 6/1 to become this year's festive chart-topper after a Facebook campaign was created to promote it.
Fans have set up a group called 'Nirvana for Christmas No1' on the social networking site, which has gained more than 33,000 'likes'.
It means that the '90s rock anthem will take on this year's X Factor winner's single for the chart spot a week ahead of Christmas.
However, X Factor acts Misha B, The Risk and Janet Devlin still remain the bookies' favourite contenders to win the competition and hit the festive top spot.
Nirvana recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their classic album Nevermind with a special edition re-release.
Meanwhile, The X Factor decided to change Saturday night's theme to 'Rock' from 'Heroes' at the last minute.
