"I've caught a few shows and I think the judging panel are great," Lott told Digital Spy. "It's good that they changed it up to keep it fresh."

She added: "The contestants are really good, but I need to watch it a bit more to see who my favourites are."

After remarking that the new mentors have "great chemistry" and listing Misha B, Craig Colton and Johnny Robinson as her frontrunners, Lott admitted that she would like Robinson to cover one of her tracks.

"I'd love to hear [Johnny sing one of my songs]. That would be very cool," she smiled. "I think he'd be good at 'Boys and Girls'.

"He could dress up and play the part. Or he'd be good with 'Cry Me Out', with that kind of vibe."

Pixie Lott's new single 'What Do You Take Me For?' will be available to download on November 6.

The star's second album Young Foolish Happy follows on November 7.
