X Factor Lucy Spraggan: 'One Direction collaboration would be amazing'

X Factor hopeful Lucy Spraggan has spoken to Digital Spy about the reaction from celebrity fans to her reality TV show audition, which has included tweets of support from One Direction and Professor Green.

Spraggan, who has reached No.2 in the iTunes chart with the song she performed on the show 'Last Night', also picked up support from Frankie Cocozza, Alex Reid and actor Gary Lucy on Twitter after her performance at the weekend.

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson said: "Well done babe! I'm a local lad from Doncaster ! #comeonyorkshire."

Speaking to Digital Spy about the former X Factor boyband, Spraggan said: "It's just incredible to get those comments from Louis and to think that One Direction have heard of me.

"Of course I'd love a collaboration with One Direction. I'd love to work with any of these people. To do anything like that would just be incredible. To be in this situation is really hard to take in.

"But the One Direction boys are lovely. Of course I'd work with them."

The X Factor continues on Saturdays on ITV1.
