This debut single isn't as catchy as 'Once', nor as quirky as the standouts from Vickers's album, but it's quintessentially pleasant in, well, the pleasantest possible way. Co-written with reliable hitmaking types Claude Kelly and Steve Robson, it's a summery reggae-pop toe-tapper that would probably occupy the intersecting space on a Venn diagram between Will Young, Paolo Nutini and Alright, Still-era Lily Allen. Oh, and if Murs does have his eye on Vickers in that other way, it would make an ideal soundtrack to a romantic back garden barbecue. Ol mate, just remember the key to a perfect Pimm's is all in the fruit. And the gin.
