Sampson releases double A-side 'Get Up On The Dance Floor' and 'Headz Up' on November 24, the same day as Take That return with their new single.
Speaking about the impending chart battle, Sampson told The Sun: "It's not so much David v Goliath - more Tom v Jerry. I'm terrified."
Proceeds from Sampson's track will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Sampson has already been part responsible for one number one, after Mint Royale's 'Singin' In The Rain' topped the chart in June having been featured on ITV's Britain's Got Talent.
