Vocals from the opera legend have been digitally added to a new version of 'O Holy Night' recorded by Smith, The Sun claims.
A source said: "Faryl is thrilled - she never thought she'd get the chance to sing with Pavarotti and now she has. The technology is note-perfect and it sounds as if they're really there together."
The insider added: "Pavarotti was a huge name and Faryl is a rising star. It's a perfect combination."
Smith first found fame on Britain's Got Talent last year and released her self-titled debut album in March. Her next disc Wonderland is due out on November 30.
Pavarotti passed away in September 2007 after losing a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 71.
