Get Cape album features 'Hollyoaks' star

Indie star Get Cape Wear Cape Fly's new album will feature Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain beatboxing.

Get Cape, real name Sam Duckworth, met Fountain while filming a guest slot in the Chester-based soap, which is due to air on March 24.

Duckworth decided to record a song for his sophomore LP Searching For The Hows And Whys on the soap's set, where he discovered Fountain's "wicked" talent.

The singer told the Daily Star: "The episode I’m in centres around a battle of the bands competition and I go up alongside a group from the show.

"I got to hang out with some of the cast, including Chris and Kevin Sacre, who plays Jake, and we had a real laugh.

"After filming we thought it would be fun to get everyone involved in the new album. It comes with a special free acoustic record.

"I thought I should record a track in one of the Hollyoaks families' living rooms, so we set up in the McQueens' house.

"That’s when I discovered Justin Burton [Fountain] was a wicked beatboxer. He has got a real ­talent."
