The mother-of-three, who won cooking reality show MasterChef Australia in 2009, said that she wants to release a Christmas CD because she has "always loved music".
Goodwin told The Daily Telegraph: "When I went on MasterChef one of the questions I was asked was why I was entering and I said, 'Because I'm too old for Idol and too fat for [So You Think You Can] Dance'.
"I used to sing at Asquith Golf Club. I've always loved music; I was in the choir and concert band at school and I play a few instruments. Then, when I settled down with my family, I did a few weddings and things like that."
