The Streets' Mike Skinner ignites feud with The Voice UK hopeful Leo

By
Mike Skinner has sparked a feud with his former collaborator and The Voice UK hopeful Leo Ihenacho.

Ihenacho - also known as Leo the Lion - sang vocals on The Streets' number one single 'Dry Your Eyes' and went on tour with Skinner's former band.

However, Skinner has taken to his blog to insist that Ihenacho was not a fully-fledged member of The Streets.

Skinner wrote: "Leo the Lion wasn't in The Streets. He was a session singer on a few album tracks.

"He also sang on tour for a bit. He wasn't part of any songwriting."

Ihenacho reacted angrily to Skinner's remarks, tweeting: "YOU ARE A TOTAL DISGRACE..!! HOW F**KING DARE YOU...SESSION SINGER..!!??? #EGOTISTICAL #ARSEHOLE

"Explain to the fans why we haven't spoken for years... You refuse to be happy for me.. After all these years... You gonna post that..!!!!!"

He later added: "It's just incredible how some people can never ever want others to succeed.

"Sincere apologies to all the fans for going off like that..!! Love as always.. #LetsKeepItMoving #SayNoMore"

Leo was one of the successful acts on the BBC One show's launch episode, impressing Kylie Minogue and her fellow coaches.
