The former EastEnders actress is currently promoting urban pop song 'Shimmy', the first single to be released from the forthcoming LP.
Speaking to Holy Soap about what she has in store on the album, Kalidas confirmed: "There's definitely a theme, but it's still varied because I don't think every song should have the same production. I've worked with different producers. It's about catering for every mood."
The 29-year-old also confessed that she is feeling anxious as she attempts to make the transition from soap actress to popstar.
She said: "I am nervous because it's something I've always wanted to do and I'm passionate about it. It's personal to me and it's something I've created. But as much as I'm nervous, I'm also very excited."
'Shimmy', which features a rap from hip-hop star Mumzy Stranger, will be released on July 26.
