The soap star, who plays the villainous David Platt, sang vocals with the group on their hit single 'The Day We Caught The Train', reports The Sun.
Shepherd was spotted during the gig, which took place at the Hard Rock Café venue, sitting on a friend's shoulders.
Earlier in the evening, the group's guitarist Steve Cradock smashed his acoustic guitar onstage and the band were forced to carry on without him.
Ocean Colour Scene had nine top 20 singles between 1996 and 1999 including 'The Riverboat Song', '100 Mile High City' and 'Travellers Tune'.
