Darren Criss performs solo New York show

Darren Criss has performed a special solo gig at New York's Irving Plaza, with special guests from Glee and A Very Potter Musical.

Criss has been performing as part of the 'Glee Live! In Concert' tour, but treated his fans to a special gig that featured tracks from the comedy-drama series, as well as some original songs.

The actor, who plays Blaine Anderson in Glee, performed 'Teenage Dream' with The Warblers, and an acoustic version of The Zutons' 'Valerie' with Naya Rivera, who plays Santana Lopez on the show.

Criss was pulled off stage by a female fan during a performance of Queen's 'Somebody to Love' at the Glee tour in Washington DC recently.

Naya Rivera has signed a record deal with Columbia Records to release a solo album.
