The 10-year-old opera singer - who finished runner-up to Michael Grimm on the NBC competition this season - was asked which singers she admired during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday.
"There are several actually. There's Josh Groban, Charlotte Church, Andrea Bocelli and this girl isn't really my type of singing, but Lady GaGa!" she replied.
The Pennsylvania native went on to say that she had been "really nervous" when she returned to fifth grade after her success on the talent show, but added: "I always say to myself, 'Jackie you're just a normal kid', you know?
"You just have to act like these comments are normal. You have to get used to it so when I go to school I'm always happy because it's a normal kid thing."
Evancho - who sang 'Pie Jesu' during her appearance on the programme and also shared a typical day in her life video with the viewers - recently signed a major record deal with Syco/Columbia Records to release an album.
She previously said that she "felt like a winner" following America's Got Talent despite her second place finish, saying that she loved "every single moment" that she competed on the show.
Evancho releases the four-track record O Holy Night on November 16.
