'Jersey Shore's Pauly D signed by 50 Cent, joins G-Unit group

Jersey Shore star Pauly D has revealed that he is now part of 50 Cent's G-Unit family.

50 Cent announced on Twitter that the reality star is "G NOTES' newest addition", while a G-Unit rep also confirmed the signing to MTV News.

Pauly D wrote on his Twitter: "Big Big Things In The Works @50cent And @DJPaulyD !!!!! #yeahhhhbuddy"

Earlier this year, it was alleged that 50 Cent was desperate to sign Pauly D to his record label, and planned to draw up a three-album deal.

Pauly D recently appeared on Britney Spears's world tour, performing a DJ set before Spears took to the stage.

He said: "We linked up in Las Vegas. I'd landed a residency in Las Vegas to DJ at the Palms and she wanted me to DJ an event she had over there. We just hit it off and she said she'd love to have me on tour with her.

"How can you say no to that?! A tour with Britney Spears! I said yes, I'd do it and it was probably one of the best things I've ever done. It was amazing."
