A post on Interscope's official Twitter account has revealed that the clip for GaGa's controversial new single will be officially debuted during one of next week's two Idol shows, although the specific date has yet to be announced.
American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c on Fox.
The promo, which was co-directed by the singer's creative advisor Laurieann Gibson, has generated controversy even before it's official premiere due to GaGa's portrayal of the biblical figure Mary Magdalene.
GaGa will also promote the impending release of her sophomore LP Born This Way by performing 'Judas' live for the very first time this Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Other reported promotional appearances will include stops on Good Morning America and the MTV Video Music Awards, as well as an appearance on BBC Radio 1.
Additionally, this week's episode of the hit Fox sitcom Glee will feature a musical tribute to the 'Bad Romance' singer.
Born This Way will be available for purchase on May 23.
