'American Idol' contestant Naima Adedapo lands record deal

The Milwaukee-native, who is the eighth season ten finalist to get a record deal, will release a three-song EP in March before her debut studio album arrives in stores later this year.
The EP is produced by Warryn Campbell, who has worked with artists like Kanye West and Brandy.
Adedapo posted on her Twitter: "Season 10 broke the record of AI finalists in one season to get a record deal!! I HAVE BEEN SIGNED TO PEAK RECORDS!!"
Andi Howard, President of Peak Records, said: "We are extremely excited about signing Naima. I fell in love with her from the moment I saw her audition on Idol. She is a multi-talented beautiful artist and the Peak Records/eOne family is very happy to have her as an addition to our roster."
Adedapo auditioned for the tenth season of American Idol in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She made it to the live shows but was eliminated from the show as part of the Top 11.
