Abdul 'too nervous' for live TV concert

The American Idol judge's new single 'Dance Like There's No Tomorrow' will be shown at the annual American football event, but her rendition will have been pre-recorded before a studio audience.
TV bosses claimed Abdul's performance won't be live because they didn't have time to organise the logistics.
However, according to OK!, Abdul's "fragile" emotional state is the real reason behind her pre-recorded performance.
"She is fragile emotionally and too much of a perfectionist to handle a live show," said a source.
American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest commented: "I know she's been working very hard on it. I know she was rehearsing." He also revealed that he had chosen not to watch an early preview of the song so that he can enjoy it like a proper fan.
He added: "I want to be surprised. I’m going to experience it for the first time with everybody else."
