Miley Cyrus: 'See You Again'

Miley Cyrus has become a teen icon thanks to her starring role in Hannah Montana, a Disney Channel TV series about an ordinary teenage girl who lives a double life as a popstar. As Hannah, Cyrus sells out arenas and shifts million of albums, but now, at the grand old age of 15, she wants to be known as a credible pop singer in her own right.

To that end, she's taken on a more mature sound for 'See You Again', the first single she's released without any connection to the TV show that made her name. This is a definite step up from Hannah Montana's wholesome, tween-friendly fare, a giddy dance-pop tune with a definite new wave influence and an infectious chorus. Decent pop careers have been built on less.
