Eric Prydz: 'Pjanoo'
Eric Prydz's name will forever be associated with pert bottoms wrapped in Lycra, sexually suggestive aerobics and sweaty Ayia Napa club nights in 2004. However, beyond his chart success with 'Call On Me', Prydz is a well-respected producer and one of the leading house DJs on the circuit. Unlike fellow Swede Basshunter, he has more to offer than computer-generated beats and music videos featuring scantily-clad ladies.

This latest single is a far more honest representation of the Prydz style than 'Call On Me'. A house instrumental built, as its title suggests, around an insistent piano riff, it's a euphoric, head-bobbing delight. We've all heard records like 'Pjanoo' a thousand times before, but the ingredients are assembled so well here that any thoughts of similar tracks quickly disappear as you listen.
