Keane: 'Lovers Are Losing'
Listening to the new Keane album, it's easy to picture Tom Chaplin and co. rifling through boxes of old 12" singles in daddy's attic. The eighties pop stylings of Perfect Symmetry owe a clear debt to David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys and ABC, among others.

Thankfully, the Sussex three-piece have managed to overhaul their sound without losing their knack for a big, arena-ready chorus. A case in point is 'Lovers are Losing', whose melody is so complex and brilliant that it still surprises you the umpteenth time you hear it. This time around, Keane don't even need to "Oooooh!" to put a smile on our faces.

while the album is superb, Keane have an awful knack of not picking the right songs to release and in a terrible order. Perfect Symmetry should have been the comeback song or Again and again

i don't think it's good enough for Keane to have another hit. Although their new album is phenomenal, this single isn't quite a statement for a really good single. They should've chosen a different song such as "Love Is The End" which is absolutely great.
