Christina Aguilera: 'Keeps Gettin' Better'
Ever since Britney went into meltdown in 2007, fellow pop divas have had to up their games to earn our attention. Prancing around in leather and talking about her "naked Sundays" used to earn Christina Aguilera plenty of red top coverage, but unless she decides to walk through Trafalgar Square in a bikini in her next video, she's always going to look tame in comparison to her fellow Mickey Mouse Club alumnus.

It's nice to report, therefore, that 'Keeps Gettin' Better' is a treat for the ears rather than the eyes. A welcome departure from the hammy jazz sound of her Back To Basics LP, this Linda Perry-penned track is an electropop stomper built around some second-hand Goldfrapp synths and Christina's husky cry of "Some days I'm a super-b**ch!" While it may not generate the same headlines as 'Womanizer', it's more than a match on musical terms.

I think 'Dynamite' woulf have been a better single, it's more futuristic sounding whereas this gets a bit boring after a while.

I think this song is fun and catchy and ALOT different from what she did with her last record. Even though the song isn't amazing ala Ain't No Other Man or Beautiful, i think again it shows that Christina is THE most versatile female artist in the industry right now and her voice always shines through.

Now I love Christina, but why did she feel she had to go down the electro pop route? I understand variety is the spice of life, and she has the voice to sing most kinds of music, but this is just really disapponiting. I know a lot of people didn't like Back To Basics but any thing on that album is much better than this. Sorry.

This song is just generic, bland and limp. A poor attempt at following the 'electro-pop' trend. Please pleasve the Britney comparisons out, considering that her latest attempt seems to trump Christina's, music wise and on the charts. Overall? Weak song.

I really like it!! Hope it reaches the top ten! Her and Britney seem to be doing well at the moment.

NOT TRAFALGAR SQUARE IN A BIKINI! THAT WOULD BE COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS! IT WOULD PROBABLY CAUSE A WAR! This reviewer obviously has a pretty low shock threshold.

I think this is good and brillant, it's catchy and much better than britney spears womaniser single. Plus Christina is a much better singer than britney.

I love it. I'm pleased she is back. I wish we were getting a new album rather than a Greatest Hits though. I hope the song does well despite not having a video yet.
