Anastacia: 'I Can Feel You'
It's been four-and-a-half years since her last studio album, and three since she released a single, but Anastacia has barely had chance to put her feet up. During her time away from the charts she's designed her own clothing line, released her first perfume and got married.

Sadly, 'I Can Feel You' isn't the big comeback single she needs after what in pop terms is a fairly lengthy hiatus. It begins promisingly with a lightly funky disco groove, but the chorus lacks the oomph that turned 'Left Outside Alone' and 'I'm Outta Love' into radio favourites. Worse still, Anastacia's USP - namely that she's 'The Little Lady With The Big Voice' - just isn't that unique in the era of Winehouse, Duffy and co.

OMG! How can you even compare her to artists like WHINEhouse and Duffy, Duffy sounds disgusting on that coco cola advert and whinehouse just sounds terrible, specially when she tries to rip us off with Gershwins amazing song "Someone to Watch Over Me" The people who don't like her voice are the people with narrow minded views of how people should sound, Duffy has a nice quality, but lacks the power for me, Amy Whinehouse just lacks common sense :-) She is a belter, and I'm sure her next album will be better, notice a pattern with her albums "Not That Kind" amazing, "Freak of Nature" average, "Anastacia" Fantastic! "Heavy Rotation" good. So the next should follow trend :-) This woman isn't just about to disappear I know it :-) she's too popular around europe! End of discussion!

I couln't help but sigh when I first heard this. But it is a grower. Sounds quite like her early material

If the reviewer would give the track a few more listens he would see it really is an amazing single. Anastacia has a distinctive voice and a clear-cut image that seperates her from the sameness of 'Winehouse, Duffy and co.'

This single is definitely a grower, I'm a massive fan and I wasn't too sure at first. It takes a few listens for you to notice the amazing production that has gone into this record, with various synths you only pick up on after a few plays. The beat is great, it has a light funky feel to it. It's not a powrful song that pushes her vocals to the limit, but she doesn't need to do this on every song, it's a mainstream track that should promote the album well. Anastacia is being compared to other artists on the scene now, although she has been around a lot longer than them, she knows her own identity and is not trying to be anything she's not, from I Can Feel You all you get is Anastacia, and that's what has gained her such a big following.

It's great to have her back but the song is such a let down! It just does nothing and goes nowhere!

Sorry but to say that her USP 'little lady with the big voice' isn't unique because of Duffy, Winehouse etc is just stupid sorry but I have yet to hear Duffy or Winehouse, anyone for that matter sing a song with Anastacia's power and I don't think I ever will Anastacia is amazing in every sense, her voice could blow them all away in an instant. You can't really compare her with Winehouse or Duffy, she's in a different league. I don't understand why people like singers with no talent, I bet this guy just loves Britney Spears, Kylie, Leona Lewis! whom are all talentless in my opinion. This track is great as is the album!
