Guns N' Roses: 'Chinese Democracy'
After 15 years, several million dollars and a rotating list of band members not even Spinal Tap can compete with, Axl Rose has finally deemed the world ready for his Chinese Democracy project. The braid-haired frontman may have some serious time management issues to work on, but Guns fans will just be grateful that after all the talk of men with KFC buckets on their head and free cans of Dr Pepper, Rose has finally pulled his finger out.

Kicking of with the frontman's familiar screeching wail and a barrage of turbo-charged metal riffs, 'Chinese Democracy' is exactly what you'd want and expect from a Guns N' Roses single that took over a decade to produce. Ludicrous, barmy and seriously loud, this track packs a knockout punch. It features five guitarists, pompous lyrics about "missionaries" and "masturbation" and some guitar noodling even Slash might be jealous of. It's not going to change the world, but the Guns comeback is far better than it's got any right to be.

Okay song, not great. Instead of sounding like G'n'R, with all the tinkering and rerecording Axl has done it now sounds like G'n'R meets NIN. Too way way too long to release and unfortunatly the hype is bigger than the song.
