Solange: 'Sandcastle Disco'

Based around a lively Ronson-esque drumbeat, 'Sandcastle' finds Solange worrying about a cad who's earned himself a reputation with the ladies. Her vocals are the silky stuff of modern R&B, but her cries of "Ba ba ba ba ba-by" on the chorus have more than a hint of '60s girl group to them. Somehow managing to sound irresistibly catchy without resorting to tacky hooks or key changes, this track should get Beyoncé looking nervously over her shoulder.

A breath of fresh air. Track is really good but I also agree with earlier comments about her not really being able to make it over here, which is a shame because she deserves it.

It should have Beyonce looking over her shoulder but won't. Despite having some quality tunes behind her, Solange just doesn't have the star power to make an impact over here.

This song is amazing [her album is my fave of the year] - she deserves far more recognition than she deserves
