Gym Class Heroes ft. Estelle: 'Guilty As Charged'

Gym Class Heroes bassist Eric Roberts told DS earlier this year that his band didn't even meet Estelle when they recorded this track for their The Quilt album. Fortunately, this hasn't hindered the New York four-piece, who sound perfectly in sync and on typically jaunty form alongside the British R&B singer.

Following the regular GCH formula of blending several musical styles, 'Guilty As Charged' is a cheeky melting pot of brass, Latino and hip-hop. Produced by Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump, the singer's knack for radio-friendly hooks and classic pop breakdowns has clearly rubbed off. Estelle, meanwhile, is as feisty as ever, challenging: "If you're innocent, let me see you two step," while GCH work out some bass-heavy grooves. Funkier than a dozen saxophones, this track should prove to be a dancefloor fave at every office Christmas party.
