Lyrical shortcomings notwithstanding, this well-meaning piano ballad is actually pretty touching. Conceived as a tribute to John Lennon, it features a lovely, wistful melody, a shamelessly misty-eyed guitar solo and even a speech sample from one of the late Beatle's last ever interviews. Hardly one of Oasis's most indelible moments, but it's nice to be reminded of the band's tender side.

Another pile of garbage from oasis which sounds like everything else they have ever done. Originality is obviously lost on these bunch of muppets.

Oasis are usually seen as this brash arrogant bunch, but it's songs like these that make you forgive them. Much better than Songbird and the melody is just heartbreaking.

liam gallagher's greatest song writing acievement beating even songbird. its a fantastic tribute which i personally cant stop listening to it. its just a shame that the reviewer cant spot an oasis classic when he sees one

I love it.
I love it.

Everything Oasis release is repetitive and boring. This song has the ability to make me cry painfully. And that's not in a good way. It's complete utter shite!
