I like it. It has a 70s feel to it and sounds funky

agree with andrew in hull. the sugababes have had to change their sound with nearly every album and some of it due to the lineup change. but what the sugababes do best is try and be current and relevant. and i believe that catfights and spotlightts is one of their strongest to date it is up there with three album in my opinion. no can do is a catchy tune and living life on the edge they are having fun with themselves from girls to no can do. the band do not have to prove thmselves anymore. they are the most successful and hard working act in the 21 century, well in my mind

I think that this just shows a natural progression for the Sugababes. They have been in music for so long now that they have had to change their style to remain relevant in the ever changing world of music. I for one think this more "grown up" sound is just as good if not better than many of their previous releases, though that may be because I have grown up with them over the years. The video helps too, I would love to drive a car of hot men in hotpants!

Not a bad song but easily forgettable and not nearly as good as some of their other singles. Good video though ;)

I actually really like the tune, cant speak for the album but its certainly better than their previous few efforts. Ok I admit its not a Push the Button or About you Now, but they are quintessentially pop cheesy tunes, and No Can Do is much more grown up - pop, in the vein of say S EB. I like the song and it deserves to do well, not sure why the unnecessary backlash!

Well, I've never been a massive fan of Sugababes, just been a casual listener. But this was the song that made me buy their album 'Catfights and Spotlights' 'No Can Do' is a lovely, mature piece of music along with many other tracks from their album. I don't see what the problem is with that. A lot of people are just like a herd of sheep, they'll just follow others just for sake of it.

catfights and spotlight fans i know will really love their new sound. im pleased with this song and their latest album. i dont know why its getting so much bad reviews though. oh well the real core fans will understand it. 10/10 one of my fav singles from them no can do.

love it love it love it. plus the intro. i really like heidi's you could of handled things a little differently and now your on your own you will be missing me. she looks so fierce and edgy. keisha's vocals are outstanding especially on live performances of this song.
wonderer neasden on December 19th, 2008
agree with the last three comments their new album which is a flop has so much quality and its a shame that it wont be heard by many people. oh well no can do is a nice funky disco esque but the lyrics are man hating like their usuals. 9/10

im fed up with this edgy business. so having moody faces means edgy what do you mean. girls was a catchy song with a dark rnb like a video keeping it a mature side to freak like me. its a shame that the sugababes arent recognized for their talent. their so underrated. even if they released great songs like sunday rain, can we call a truce, you on a good day or eveyr heart broken they still wouldnt make people happy. anyways girls youve done well. no can do is a good root you have taken and i like the middle 8 between amelle and keisha.
Shantella on December 18th, 2008
its about quality and not quanitity and the girls havent lost their edge one bit. beware shows their dark sound, every heart broken another dark lyric. no can do shows how they used to be with smileless faces especially heidi. no can do is a great song similar words to hole in the head but just with a funky beat
matt london on December 18th, 2008
completely disagree just because its not your average freak like me or hole in the head doesnt mean that this single or their album is bad. i love the new motown direction their taken with beats like no can do and you on a good day show the fun and loveable side. i would of loved another single chosen but this will do. its a shame that the sugababes album isnt doing well and people like girls aloud, even though the promse is catchy and kate perry are doing better. the girls have the vocals and music to prove...

Absolute rubbish.
jordan power on December 18th, 2008
im surprised at some reviews. i've seen this song is bloody good compared to girls alouds loving kind. sugababes seemed to get low sales since cheryl cole went on x factor. sugababes are true british stars better than other girl bands and i dont believe we have proper reviewers
JP, London on December 18th, 2008
This is a poor single choice from a very disappointing album. They've seem to forgotten what made them special.
makson on December 18th, 2008
Sugababes are going through a music mid-life crisis.
Dan, Manchester on December 18th, 2008
Couldn't agree more, weak song and terrible choice of release. I respect that the album is hardly full of potential releases but there are better than this. Oh and FYI- trying to grab our attention with such a shameless video = transparent.
