While comeback tune 'Love You Anyway' was an upbeat, sixties-indebted offering, 'Better' finds the group returning to the romantic ballads with which they made their name. Originally performed by Cornish singer-songwriter Tom Baxter, it's a gooey love song that warms the cockles with its simple hook: "And no matter what the day is, with you here it's better." It's about as groundbreaking as a fried egg sandwich, but this track is sure to satisfy Boyzone fans eagerly awaiting a new studio album.
