Boyzone: 'Better'

While comeback tune 'Love You Anyway' was an upbeat, sixties-indebted offering, 'Better' finds the group returning to the romantic ballads with which they made their name. Originally performed by Cornish singer-songwriter Tom Baxter, it's a gooey love song that warms the cockles with its simple hook: "And no matter what the day is, with you here it's better." It's about as groundbreaking as a fried egg sandwich, but this track is sure to satisfy Boyzone fans eagerly awaiting a new studio album.

This is an insult to the original. Tom Baxters version was by far better.

They must be gutted! Take That literally exploded back onto the music scene, the Boyz however have popped and fizzled a bit!
