Purveyors of social commentary and shouty choruses, The Kaiser Chiefs won legions of fans with their uber-anthemic singles 'Ruby' and 'I Predict A Riot'. Though they've teamed up with horn-happy producer Mark Ronson for current album Off With Their Heads, they certainly haven't abandoned the indie-pop that's served them well so far.

'Good Days Bad Days' shows Ricky Wilson's band still know how to pen a catchy tune – the quirky, matter-of-fact lyrics and singalong chorus are blessed with that distinctive Kaiser touch. But while this distinguishes itself from earlier offerings by sounding both punky and a little bit electro, it lacks the fist-pumping quality that makes their best singles such a hoot. Still, there should be enough here to keep Kaiser fans satisfied for the time being.
