They are the loving kind to most of the people in the UK so they deserve to be with the top greatest bands.

Andy, Hull on January 13th, 2009
The girls success speaks for itself! They clearly have a fan base and know how to appeal to it. The song is alright as are most of their tracks, I am by no means a particular fan of GA, but I do appreciate their success. Love the way that people assume that because they don't like a track their opinion is more valid than the record buying public. Rule of thumb is, don't like it? Don't buy it!

One of the best Girls Aloud singles yet... All the haters really need to just get over it. You probably would like this song if you didn't know it was by Girls Aloud! After reading a few reviews "they have stolen the Spice Girls image" ??!! What?! They do not have individual nick names and dress in different gimmicky outfits and their style of music is totally different! They do write some of their own music, but really who cares?! Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Pussycat Dolls ect do not write their music either at least Girls Aloud have penned a few of their own tracks. Anyway, they are just a fun pop act and the most popular in the UK and fast becoming in Europe with this album. They are at the top of their game right now and with this looking to be their record breaking 20th top 10 single I really don't need to say anymore! Keep up the good work Girls!

I totally agree, I think this is definately in their top 5 best singles. With Girls Aloud we know by now we are going to get something which you can dance to, but the vocals on this are brilliant. Nicola's bit is definately the best part.
Alan, Cork on January 12th, 2009
Whoah, calm down DS! I do really like this song by Girls Aloud, but this is NOT a 5/5 song. Just Dance was fully deserved but to try and give this 5/5 is just ridiculous. Still really good though!!
PJ,London on January 11th, 2009
Best song theyve done so far
Doc on January 11th, 2009
GA have some cracking tunes don't they. This wouldn't make my top 3 of GA tunes. But it's up there. Just goes to show the importance of having a good song writing team. Bands often hit the skids when they get famous and make the mistake of wanting to write their own stuff. Thankfully, GA have the sense to stick to what they do best - performing and looking yummy!
pete cox/bristol on January 10th, 2009
Best camp video ever, i love this song too
Jen, Essex on January 10th, 2009
:)
Alex, Bristol on January 8th, 2009
I hope they release Miss You Bow Wow next to make up for this disappointment...Usually love them but this song doesn't show them off at all in my opinion
Anna, London on January 8th, 2009
Five stars? Seriously? This group is the most overrated pop act in the UK. They sound like little girls, their voices don't complement each other's at all, they can't write and their songs make no sense. It's no wonder they can't sell half a record in any other country.
Mike, Gib on January 6th, 2009
From the moment I heard this song, I knew it was gold! The single edit is even better! Hope it's another Number One for the girls!
Koy, London on January 5th, 2009
It took me a while to really like 'The Loving Kind' but, I absolutely love it now!!! Nicola's voice is amazing and, the emotion and heartache that she portrays in her voice when she says ''I'd do anything...'' is so beautiful. The video is really good aswell, one of their best IMO.
danielle, england on January 4th, 2009
This is a great song by Girls aloud they are absolutly amazing the loving kind is a song that could go with love machine and something kind of ooh for their best ever! and they are the band that managed to keep pop alive long live GA! hope it does well in the charts :)
Steven, Dublin on December 31st, 2008
I really love this song and it is one of my fav's on the album. I love Nicola's "I'd do anything..." part. It is the best thing they've ever done and Call The Shots is a poor prequel. Love the video too.
Steve, London on December 31st, 2008
Awful tripe. No other words.
Brian on December 31st, 2008
Are you lot High?
Andy, Romford on December 29th, 2008
is this reviewer being paid for writing this? i LOVE girls aloud but this is the weakest song they have ever released, i can noww see why as the pet shop boyzzzzzzzzz wrote it. awful awful song
Ken, PH on December 29th, 2008
i totally love this song but currently not my favourite from the album. Nice single choice though! It's my first time to see a 5/5 rating from this site.
Haydn, Wirral on December 27th, 2008
I love the reworking done to this song! Sounds different to the album version but also alot better. Probably my second favourite song on the album (after Untouchable) and Nicola sounds great on it! Can't wait to see them in Liverpool on June 2nd! Woo! Haha. GA Rock :]
Martin, Wirral on December 27th, 2008
It's a fabulous song. =)
GIRLS ALOUD SUCKS on December 27th, 2008
No way is this 5 Stars, you're having a laugh MR David Balls, obviously you're a fan of theirs, but this song is nothing but Bad, which is why they will never be international, The UK likes cheesy pop, Girls Aloud are just that
Kat, Sandy on December 27th, 2008
Weakest song on the album! I can't believe they're releasing this! ((
Karen on December 27th, 2008
I wish these girls would split. They have completely stolen the image of the Spice Girls and no one seems to care. Well Girls Aloud, karma is a bitch and I reckon it will came back to you.

Jordan on December 26th, 2008
This probably is one of the best songs they've ever done; and I agree, full props to Nicola. Her "I'd do anything..." segment is my favorite part of the song, and sends shivers up my spine almost every time! Pity it only plays once through the song, but it makes you appreciate it the whole much more. Nicola is an amazing vocalist, and she's the only GA member besides Nadine who's had a solo on a GA album. When I got the album recently, I just kept replaying the song over, and over. Certainly up there with their best, and I'm disappointed people keep referring it as 'Call the Shots' part two. Sure, they're both part dance, part ballad with a retro electro beat, but they're truly different from each other. The video is stunning, one of my favorites of theirs. The divide of them being the loving kind, and not, is portrayed really well, and I like the color scheme that's going on.

Lucy, Gateshead on December 26th, 2008
The song is much better than "The Promise." However, it still lacks the quality of their previous stuff, such as "Biology" and "Love Machine"
emma, glasgow on December 26th, 2008
i love this song everytime it comes on i get up and dance its as good as the promise
Deano, Nottingham on December 26th, 2008
Love this song!! It has been stuck in my head since the first time I heard it
makson on December 26th, 2008
5 stars is a bit too generous. If anything it should definitely lose a mark for the dreadful radio edit of the song. Makes it sound somewhat bland. Get the album version of this track instead.
ella essex on December 25th, 2008
Am i the only person on the planet that hates Girls Aloud?
Chris, Portsmouth on December 25th, 2008
