Bryn Christopher: 'Fearless'

As a British soul singer with a fondness for all things retro, who happened to support Amy Winehouse on her infamous 2007 tour, it's no surprise that Bryn Christopher has been called the "male Amy Winehouse". Of course it's easy enough to pick holes in these comparisons - for one thing, Christopher seems like a solid, dependable sort who's still working his socks off trying to get his name out there.

'Fearless', the third single from his debut album, finds the Brummie singer in carpe diem mode. "This is life, everything is yours to earn, everything is a lesson learned, if you choose," he warbles soulfully. This may lack the killer Ronson-esque production of 'The Quest', or the upbeat bounce of 'Smilin', but it's a likeable offering that shows off Christopher's voice nicely and should add to his fanbase.
