The Fray: 'You Found Me'
Like linedancing and Noel Edmonds, The Fray are more popular than you think. The Colorado four-piece sold a whopping three million copies of their 2005 debut, thanks in no small part to exposure on the big US TV shows. In fact, their breakthrough hit 'How To Save A Life' was used on everything from Grey's Anatomy to One Tree Hill to Scrubs.

Continuing their entente cordiale with the US TV networks, 'You Found Me', the lead single from album number two, has already been used to plug the new season of Lost across the pond. It's a typically earnest piano-rock anthem - rather drab and unadventurous in comparison to recent Coldplay singles, but it's hard to deny that the big, angsty chorus is brutally effective.

ultra corporate muzak for 2009, we should flog John Mayer for this legacy of conservative snooze.

Why is the UK always late when it comes to new releases? Anyways, I'm in love with this song. As usual, undetermined if the reviewer liked the song or not.
