Kanye West: 'Heartless'
Few people would dare to call themselves the "voice of a generation" while maintaining a straight face. Even fewer would claim to have too many fans. Then again, you only need to listen to Kanye West's riveting 808s & Heartbreak album to realise he isn't afraid of saying what's on his mind.

To put it mildly, second single 'Heartless' isn't exactly a warm and cosy affair. A dark, introspective slice of minor key pop, it finds an Auto-Tuned West lamenting the collapse of his relationship. "Well I got homies," he admits at one point, "But in the end it's still so lonely". Making 808s seems to have served as an alternative form of therapy for the star, but as this terrific track shows, the soul-bearing has propelled him to new creative peaks.

I hate Kanye West as a person, but I've got to say I do like his music mostly. But as for this, well, it's just incredibly dull.

brilliant song, you can tell it was made from the heart. The two guys at the bottom can shhh, because its already a top twenty hit, with no promotion at all.
