'London Conversations' LP
'Method Of Modern Love' neatly encapsulates the spirit of early Saint Etienne. Produced by electropop whizz Richard X, it combines Sarah Cracknell's chiffon-smooth vocals with an old-school dance beat that's just waiting for the Ibiza summer madness to start. 'This Is Tomorrow', by contrast, is a more ambient affair on which Cracknell warns us, "If you miss this chance you will regret it". Taken together, these tracks are a welcome reminder of Saint Etienne's charms.

I have nothing to add aside from a 'hear, hear' to Mark from Clapham's review..

Method of Modern Love is set to be one of the biggest (ignored) singles of the year. This is a crying shame, as both tracks demonstrates the Saint's ability to be simultaneously to be effortlessly cool, and completely timeless. Something the Ting-Tings laboured posturing couldn't achieve in a million years. MOML is an unashamed love letter to the band's clubland roots, complete with vamping synths and gorgeous layered vocals. Imagine a more joyous version of the recent Girls Aloud 'The Loving Kind'. The flip side - This is Tomorrow is an altogether different affair. For every indie-dance/electro-synth stomper, there's a dozen Saint Etienne slices of ambient electronica. And this is one of their best. No one sighs quite like Sarah Cracknell, in fact this contains some of the best sighing in pop. Do yourself a favour, stick it on the pod, take a walk along London's Southbank and let yourself be transported to the Saint Etienne version of London, that we all wish still existed.
