September: 'Can't Get Over'

Those expecting Eurodance music to die a death at the end of the 90s must be chomping rather grimly on their hats. In the past 12 months, floorfilling supremos Basshunter and Scooter have both scored number one albums, while Sash! and Cascada have also reached the upper echelons of the chart. Add September, whose last single 'Cry For You' spent eight weeks inside the top 10, into the mix and you'd be forgiven for thinking the Ministry of Sound were in government.

As you'd expect, her follow-up single 'Can't Get Over' sticks fairly rigidly to the 'Cry For You' formula. It's got a thumping Eurodance beat, a big synthy chorus and simple but effective lyrics that would be hard to forget even after half a dozen Bacardi Breezers. This is all topped off with a video that finds September - known to her mum as Petra Marklund - continuing with the futuristic/naff theme she patented on 'Cry For You'. If you're a regular at mega-clubs with names like 'Lava', 'Flares' or 'Diva', this will have you racing to the dancefloor.
