Calvin Harris: 'I'm Not Alone'
Scraggy-haired Scot Calvin Harris may have been verging on presumptuous when he named his debut album I Created Disco, but his 80s-infused dance tunes captured the public's attention, with both 'Girls' and 'Acceptable In The 80s' landing in the top ten. Two years later, after nearly losing his new album when pudge-fingered airport staff mislaid his baggage, he's fast-forwarded a decade for his comeback single.

"Can you stay up for the weekend and blame God for looking too old?" Harris asks at the start of 'I'm Not Alone'. Giving us a mere moment to ponder the question, the track then launches into a Faithless-style euphoric dance bonanza that wouldn't have sounded out of place at Creamfields ten years ago. Anthemic and uplifting in equal doses, this could be the first big dance tune of the summer.
