Tinchy Stryder ft. N-Dubz: 'Number One'
Ever since Ne-Yo topped the charts with 'Closer' last summer, R&B artists have been pilfering from Europop in a bid to add to their barrels of bling. Some efforts have been as valuable as a lump of lead - Craig David's 'Insomnia' being a prime example – but Tinchy Stryder, "The Prince Of Grime", managed to strike 22-carat gold with the brilliant 'Take Me Back', which became a top five hit earlier this year.

Clearly keen to repeat its success, Stryder has stuck to the same formula for 'Number One'. A savvy collaboration with urban pop trio N-Dubz, this offering places Tinchy's distinctively gritty vocals over shimmering disco beats and even throws in a few strings for good measure. The result, while catchy enough, falls a little short of its predecessor and will no doubt leave some grime enthusiasts claiming: "I don't understand how you're number one".
