N-Dubz: 'Wouldn't You'

Incredibly, this is the seventh single to be lifted from N-Dubz' debut album - a waste nothing approach of which Rihanna would no doubt approve. Then again, who can blame the Camden trio? Though that album's proved remarkably successful, shipping over 400,000 copies, they're yet to score that all-important breakthrough smash.

Sadly, 'Wouldn't You' is unlikely to right the wrong. It's a fairly standard slab of midtempo R&B whose most interesting moment comes when it threatens to go rave towards the end. Still, it's hard not to be charmed by the group's slightly clunky, very British rhymes. "I like it when you wear them material things," raps Dappy, the one with the fondness for novelty headgear . "But I like it more when you try on my hat with the strings." Beats Flo Rida, right?
