Deadmau5 & Kaskade: 'I Remember'

If you've been wondering who's responsible for the rather infectious dance tune that's all over the radio at the moment, chances are the track you're thinking of comes from Deadmau5, otherwise known as Toronto-based DJ Joel Zimmerman. His name may not sound all that familiar, but he's spent the past four years packing out clubs across the world and winning all manner of gongs for his remixing skills and production talents.

'I Remember' finds Deadmau5 once again pairing up with Kaskade - not the cheesy German Eurodance act, but his knob-twiddling friend behind their earlier floor-filler 'Move For Me'. Drawing from a variety of house, dance and techno influences, 'I Remember' places a silky-soft vocal over pulsing beats and quivering synths - to intoxicating effect. The result is a classy club hit that works as an antidote to at least one of Basshunter's recent singles.
