Ashley Tisdale made great first, second and third impressions in the High School Musical movies, stealing scenes as bitchy blonde Sharpay Evans, but her onscreen charm didn't quite translate onto her debut album. Though 2007's Headstrong sold respectably across the pond, it failed to yield a proper hit single or establish Tisdale as a credible popstar.

'It's Alright, It's OK', the lead single from album number two, is certainly a step in the right direction. It sees Tisdale come across like Kelly Clarkson's spunky little sister, delivering an "I'm so much better without you" message over a radio-friendly pop/rock backing. There's nothing remotely original here, but the big chanty chorus hits the spot like a slice of pizza after a heavy night out.

Thought it was Ashley Simpson upon first glance. So unoriginal. Even got the nose job to match! She is a much better actress, to give her some credit.

I really like her and her song, but I have to say that it's not as good as it's namesake, 'Say alright, Say OK' by Vanessa Hudgens which is so much better.

AMAZING! She has got rid of her Disney image with this energetic pop/rock tune. She has made a grea tdecision to have a genre change from dance/RnB to pop/rock. Hope she makes top 40. Begging for more from her.

Oh... Fist seconds of song are "OK" but later... It's too unoriginal track, transprent lyrics, I don't believe her word from her bigheded mouth... Think it's like a commercial lollipop for the young girls, which go in time rock way?

i think this song is atcully pretty good espically compared to the other highy school musical stars. doubt it will make top ten but lets have outfingers crossed. It very good but no where near to a brillant song, but still good and catchy.

OMG! Look at Ashley she has changed and matured and l am glad she's not blonde anymore. I was a born blonde but had change to brown. It made me feel mature and sexier. Anyway, Go Ashley she's at least cracks the top 40. She & the song deserve it.

The song is amazing and it's shows that Ashley is not afraid to take risks with her music, because her last album 'Headstrong' is a completly different sound compared to the new album 'Guilty Pleasure'! I love the track as it has a great catchy chorus and a nice rock edge to it which is good for an ex-disney star. Make sure you download it now and buy the album which is my top 20 albums of 2009 on 15th June.
