Enter Shikari: 'Juggernauts'
On paper, this comeback single sounds like a butt-clenching disaster. It features the usual Enter Shikari mash-up of post-hardcore and electronica, but this time the St Albans four-piece have added 'Dry Your Eyes'-style breakdowns and lyrics about the dissolution of society. Against the odds, the result is a welcome progression from the relentless guitar/keyboard hammering of their 2007 debut Take To The Skies.

Fans of Shikari's usual bludgeoning style won't feel let down though - the frantic trance-punk intro takes cares of that. However, those who like their music to feature a bit of melody could be won over by 'Juggernauts'. Rou Reynolds' mockney spoken word parts are slightly bizarre, but the band's new-found softer side is intriguing enough to quell any doubts. Best of all, the "Deep breaths! Clenched fists!" rallying cry adds an anthemic element to the abrasive Shikari formula.

I love it! When I first heard it on the radio it was on the rapping bit and I thought it was a new single from the Streets?? Then the chorus kicked in and I knew who it was.
