David Guetta ft. Kelly Rowland: 'When Love Takes Over'
Kelly Rowland was never going to find it easy forging a solo career. Even before the demise of Destiny's Child, Beyoncé crowned herself the Queen of R&B, leaving her former bandmates scrambling for a piece of the action. But every cloud has a silver lining, and after her second album Ms. Kelly failed to impress, Rowland drafted in dance duo Freemasons to spice things up. Confident she can 'Work' the club scene again, her latest single is another dancefloor-filling stomper.

A collaboration with French DJ David Guetta, 'When Love Takes Over' is further evidence that Rowland may no longer be resigned to living in Beyoncé's shadow. Fusing classic dance beats with a heady, emotionally-charged vocal, it's a world away from the midtempto R&B numbers with which she started her solo career. In fact, this packs a punch from the very first listen, meaning it could well become one of the summer anthems of 2009.

Kelly's soaring vocals are just perfect. Bring on the summer, love! Also, I think Kelly's so far the only one who can do dance records out of all the RnB divas...imagine Beyonce doing this! She is so versatile than most. I think this may be her new direction in music, at least I hope!

Finally, Kelly has found her genre. This song showcases her fantastic vocals are just sad when she was in Destiny's child her powerful voice wasn't used much and all we could hear was Beyonce screaming her head off to all of their songs. But anyway, forget about the past. And let's look in the future that is a must be number 1.
