Love It! Cool, it's something different than other s*** on the radio ;)

If you took two stray cats fighting, doused them in kerosene and lit it, then threw said cats down a waste chute (I love cats BTW) the resulting sound would still compare to Liz Fraser in full flight compared to this awful crap.

I just cant get over how many people actually like this package? Horribly boring lyrics, woefully 'sung'.. I mean come on? I could mumble some inaudible shit and it would sound more catchy and edgey than this tripe.. 'bulletttproooofffff'.. fuck me.. horrible horrible stuff all round. Still, I am absolutely appopleptic at how anyone can find this stuff even remotely fascinating?
Josh Wink, Stuttgart on August 5th, 2009
Well bo shank. Love it.

Didn't warm to her first single. But this one has an amazing first 30 seconds until the key change into the chorus - still a cracking song overall
EmmaDx on July 3rd, 2009

Miles Pearce, Basingstoke on June 24th, 2009
she sounds like a dying cat on heliem, its that bad. should not even be in top 40, but somehow its no 1 in midweeks
Steve, Bradford on June 23rd, 2009
Is it just me or is it 1983 again? Nice tune though, can see this taking La Roux even further than their previous single. really catchy. The real test is if it can stand being overplayed by radio 1 etc...
Alana, Dorset on June 23rd, 2009
My say is: please download this and get it to number one! It's probably their best single so far I reckon.
Matt, Manchester on June 22nd, 2009

Adam, Ireland on June 22nd, 2009

Jon, London on June 22nd, 2009
As a new convert to electro type music, I love this. I love La Roux for the fresh (these days) approach. Everyone who disses it needs to get off their high horse and put their corrs album back on. :)
EJM, Ireland on June 21st, 2009
This track sounds exactly like the last one, which was also rubbish. That woman makes my ears bleed, and doesn't do a lot of good to my eyes either.
Andrea, London on June 21st, 2009
I love this song! It has to be number 1. It just perfect and excellent! Way better than In For The Kill even through that was amazing track. GO LA ROUX! I can't wait to buy the album
Tom, Torquay on June 21st, 2009
Definitly one of her best songs. Better than In for the kill at least.
One&Only X on June 20th, 2009
I loved this song since the first time I heard. This is way better than In For The Kill. I hope it goes to number 1! But down note: Elly is pretty scary lol
Andy , Manchester on June 20th, 2009
Love the comment about the song sounding something like Yazoo circa 1981 ....... music trends and sounds come and go ('81 was 28 yrs ago now ;@) lol) ...... I remember the same comments coming out when The Jam released 'Start' coz it sounded a lot like 'Taxman' by The Beatles .... which was released about 15 yrs earlier . Music is cyclic so there's not a lot of originality to be had these days ..... it's a decent tune ,vocals less shrill than previous single (which I liked anyway) , and is light and summery . Some people these days take music too seriously ..... or is it closet jealousy ? Mmmm .......

Missy, London on June 20th, 2009
Lol at the over-critical comments about 'Bulletprooof'. Maybe I'm biased, I probably am. But I love Bulletproof, it's the kind of song that makes you wanna get up and stamp about just like Elly does in the video while singing in front of the mirror (or is that just me..?). And to the comments saying to listen to the 80s influences La Roux takes after - what's wrong with new bands coming up and injecting a fresh (or different) perspective of music to a new audience. I love it.
The One on June 20th, 2009
This woman is really ugly. She look ginger haired boy. She can't sing. Awful vocals. Her attitude is disgusting. She always says that she's better than everyone else in music. NEWS FLASH: You are the crappiest artist of all time
Beka, Bradford on June 20th, 2009
luv this song, amazing :D
Lou, London on June 20th, 2009
Truly truly dreadful, both the song and the brown-nosing, pandering review...yuk. So utterly sick of these people disguising a lack of talent with a "cooler-than-thou" attitude.
Anne, Leeds on June 18th, 2009
I love this song!
Steven Thompson on June 17th, 2009
Much then better in for the kill. Catchy, like 80 flavour.
Alice, London on June 17th, 2009
la roux is awesome they are original and talented and there music is amazing especially this song its probably their best along with i'm not your toy
Naughty Nick, Stuart Pilkingtons better half - Manchester on June 17th, 2009
In for the kill was a pile of poo, it was annoying - she sounded like a trapped cat in a drainpipe! (good analogy there) but i admit this one is a much improvement! She can't do Gaga, she can't do Goldfrapp, she just needs to do herself which I think she is at the moment struggling to find..
Iceman, Leeds on June 17th, 2009
Another superb track from the equally superb La Roux. The only problem I have with her is that I don't which one of her songs I like most. In For The Kill- Brilliant, Bulletproof- Brilliant, Quicksand- Brilliant. Wait till you here Tigerlily and I'm Not Your Toy- Yes you guessed it Brilliant. I can't wait for the album, I'm drooling as it is. Please hurry the album out and put me out of my misery!
Miles Pearce, Basingstoke on June 16th, 2009
its not bad but its not good
tr, OH on June 16th, 2009
I remember this it was.. ooh 1981! Derivative and.. come on DS reviewers, please stop making excuses for this era's popsters lack of ideas. "Well, it's a bright, bouncy slice of Yazoo-ish electropop " Well.. listen to Yazoo then.
James, Nottingham on June 16th, 2009
La Roux is the worst. Her vocals are terrible and she just looks ridiculous. I have no idea what anyone sees in her she has no talent what so ever. Couldn't agree with Donnas comments further up. She is a disgrace to music and I am not even being over the top.
Dale, Essex on June 16th, 2009
Nick Levine is King!
n1ps, Newcastle on June 16th, 2009
Hmmm, bit odd aint it? I was never quite sure if I loved or hated "In for the Kill", this is is pretty cool though (even if the chorus is a bit weak)
Ols on June 16th, 2009
To me, this is the best song of the year so far. Have been playing it constantly on YouTube since I first heard it about 2 months ago! Hopefully this will go one step better than In For The Kill and get the number 1 it deserves. 5 stars very truly deserving!
Matthew, Chester on June 16th, 2009
